Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. The position requires a licensed dentist with experience in general dentistry procedures, patient assessment, and a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental records.
  • Provide a wide range of dental treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control standards in all procedures.
  • Document treatment plans, medical documentation, and patient records accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using appropriate medical and dental terminology.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and staff to ensure optimal patient care and clinic operations.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures, including proficiency with software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; valid state licensure required.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
  • Ability to perform dental procedures including extractions, root canals, restorations, and other general dentistry services.
  • Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating pediatric patients is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per day
