General Dentist - Contract, Urgent Need, & Expenses Covered

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. You will utilize your expertise in various dental procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform a range of dental procedures, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other restorative treatments.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care and comfort.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid dental license to practice in the state.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous.
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
