Position: Dentist (DEN)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join at a Correctional Facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including oral surgery and prosthodontics. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including performing dental extractions and oral surgeries as needed.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, utilizing knowledge of dental terminology and medical documentation.
• Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics, ensuring quality and precision in all restorations.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice policies.
• Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management, scheduling, and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options available.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Experience in general dentistry with a focus on oral surgery and prosthodontics preferred.
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of dental fabrication techniques and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $120.00 - $124.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
