General Dentist for Hygiene

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated General Dentist who is comfortable performing hygiene services, routine exams, diagnosing, and providing basic restorative care (simple fillings) when needed. This position is ideal for a dentist who enjoys a steady, consistent workflow and is willing to help with hygiene in lieu of a hygienist. You’ll work in a supportive environment with a friendly team and modern equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine hygiene procedures, including cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
• Conduct comprehensive exams, diagnose conditions, and create simple treatment plans.
• Provide minor restorative care, such as basic fillings, when the schedule is busy.
• Document findings accurately and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Maintain proper infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Use practice management software Open dental for charting and scheduling.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment recommendations, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Requirements

• Valid state dental license.
• Comfortable performing hygiene procedures and basic restorative treatment.
• Strong diagnostic skills and confidence in patient communication.
• Familiarity with dental software Open dental preferred.
• Prior general dentistry or hygiene experience is a plus but not required.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Pay: From $500.00 per day
