General Dentist (GP)

American Wellness Center is looking for an experienced General Dentist (GP) to join our team on a part-time basis in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Examine patients’ medical records
• Prepare patients for treatment, including applying oral sedation or anesthesia when required
• Examine teeth, gums, and other oral tissues using X-rays and diagnostic tests to identify dental conditions
• Clean teeth and remove plaque
• Diagnose tooth decay and perform fillings
• Design and fit dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and dentures
• Perform cosmetic procedures including teeth whitening
• Conduct tooth extractions and root canal treatments
• Perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones when necessary
• Prescribe medication and treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices including brushing, flossing, and fluoride use
• Promote preventive dental care and regular dental check-ups

Requirements & Skills:

• Valid DHA License / Eligibility Letter
• Minimum 4 years of dental experience in Dubai
• Proven work experience as a Dentist
• In-depth understanding of dental hygiene and oral health care
• Hands-on experience with dental equipment, tools, and procedures
• Experience with surgeries, tooth extractions, and restorative treatments
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and patient management abilities
• Compassionate and professional personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
