This position is ideal for a dentist comfortable with providing both routine exams and hygiene-related procedures such as prophy cleanings, scaling, and patient education.

Duties

• Perform dental hygiene procedures such as prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental needs.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

Experience

• Proven experience in a dental practice or clinic setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology.
• Experience in performing root canal therapy, medical imaging, and dental fabrication is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $80,018.86 - $101,366.80 per year

Expected hours: 7 – 21 per week
