Transform lives. Expand your skillset. Grow with Fusion.

Fusion Dental Implant Centers is expanding and seeking a skilled, motivated General Dentist / Implantologist to join our Sacramento team. This role offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive general dentistry while playing a key role in dental implant care—including progressive exposure to full-arch (All-on-X) implant treatment—within a high-volume, well-supported clinical environment.

This is a startup location with strong growth potential. All-on-X experience is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate is excited to start by practicing a full clinical scope—general dentistry, oral surgery, and implants—and grow into a lead implant-focused role as the practice expands.

The Opportunity

You will practice in a beautiful, brand-new, state-of-the-art 10-chair facility, designed to support efficiency, clinical excellence, and long-term growth.

Initially, you will:

  • Handle bread-and-butter general dentistry
  • Perform oral surgery and implant placement
  • Participate in full-arch (All-on-X) implant cases
  • Help establish clinical workflows and patient care standards

As the practice grows, Fusion will:

  • Add associate general dentists to support routine GP care
  • Allow you to focus more heavily on implants, oral surgery, and full-arch cases
  • Build toward a multi-specialty model, with you serving as a core clinical leader

This role is ideal for a dentist who wants to treat the practice like their own, without ownership risk, and grow alongside the organization.

Compensation & Earning Potential

$150,000 – $400,000+ annually, based on experience, schedule, and clinical focus

  • Competitive base or daily rate
  • Production-based bonus structure
  • Implant and full-arch growth upside
  • Increasing earning potential as associates are added
  • Clear path to higher earnings as clinical scope narrows into implants and full-arch

Your earning potential scales with your clinical impact, productivity, and continued growth.

Scope of Practice

This role includes general dentistry, oral surgery, and dental implants, with a clearly defined evolution over time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive general dentistry (exams, diagnosis, restorative care)
  • Perform bread-and-butter oral surgery (extractions, grafting, implant placement)
  • Place dental implants as indicated
  • Participate in and progressively take on full-arch (All-on-X) implant cases
  • Conduct patient consultations alongside Patient Advisors
  • Collaborate with restorative doctors and surgical teams
  • Review CBCTs, treatment plans, and digital workflows
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation

This is not a limited role—Fusion supports a diversified scope that narrows strategically as the practice matures.

Training, Support & Clinical Resources

  • Structured onboarding and startup support
  • Mentorship from experienced implant clinicians
  • Exposure to full-arch workflows, planning, and execution
  • Peer-to-peer collaboration and case review
  • Advanced technology and digital planning tools
  • Opportunity to grow into higher-complexity cases at your pace

Fusion is built for clinicians who want to continue advancing, not plateau.

Schedule & Structure

  • Full-time or part-time options available
  • Monday through Friday, starting at 9:00 AM
  • Flexible scheduling as the practice scales
  • Employment or independent contractor structure available

What Success Looks Like at Fusion

  • Long-term mindset and collaborative approach

Qualifications & Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from a U.S.-accredited dental school
  • Active, unrestricted California dental license
  • Implant experience preferred
  • Interest in implant dentistry and full-arch treatment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

A Day in the Life at Fusion
