General Dentist – Oral Surgery Focus (Wisdom Teeth) – Fridays or Saturdays

At Sola Kids Dental, we’ve built a calm, colorful, kid-friendly dental home in South LA — and we’re looking for a confident, surgery-focused General Dentist to join our team.

The majority of our patients are covered under Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal, and access to in-house surgical care makes a huge difference for the families we serve. We’re looking for a provider who is comfortable handling extractions — especially third molars — in a high-volume, team-driven environment.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a General Dentist with strong oral surgery experience to work Fridays or Saturdays, with the opportunity to expand as demand grows.

This role is ideal for a clinician who:

• Regularly performs wisdom tooth extractions (including impacted cases)
• Is comfortable working efficiently in a Medicaid-based practice
• Values teamwork and smooth surgical flow

You’ll:

• Perform simple and surgical extractions
• Perform third molar (wisdom tooth) extractions
• Manage pediatric and adolescent surgical cases as appropriate
• Provide thorough treatment planning and consultations
• Maintain strong clinical documentation
• Deliver a calm, reassuring patient experience
• Collaborate closely with our general dentists and clinical team

About You:

• DDS or DMD degree
• Licensed to practice dentistry in California
• Active Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal credentialing (required)
• Valid malpractice insurance
• 2+ years of experience performing surgical extractions and wisdom teeth independently
• Comfortable with high-volume patient flow
• Efficient, organized, and confident surgically
• Strong case presentation and communication skills
• (Bonus!) Experience treating teens and young adults
• (Double bonus!) Bilingual (English + Spanish)

Note: This position does NOT require completion of an Oral Surgery residency. However, strong surgical experience is required.
