Are you an experienced Associate who is ready to join a well-established private dental practice that seeks your general dentistry talents? We are looking for a PART TIME, highly productive dentist who is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry. We seek a dentist who also possesses a positive and cooperative nature, keen sense of business, self-directed motivation, humble, hungry, eager to learn, and an easy going personality. Specialty dentistry is a plus for this associate along with being able to work independently.

A BIG PLUS for you is if you are highly effecient in Endo; including Molars, as you will be referred 80% of the RCTs from 4 other general dentist. WILL GET REFFERED 100% OF THE MOLAR ENDO.

If you are open to working Saturdays, 1-2 a month. We have to the team to do it. This not a requirment.

About Our Practice:

At Apollo Beach Dental Excellence, we boast a team of dental professionals dedicated to creating and maintaining healthy, beautiful smiles (check out our google reviews). In a safe, comforting environment, we provide meticulous, uncompromising, state-of-the-art dentistry to each and every patient. We have multiple scanners and crown mills for same day crowns - which Patients Love. We are a private PPO/FFS dental office. We do not accept HMO or Medicaid.

Our office is open from 7 AM - 7 PM Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 2 PM on Friday. Our providers work a straight 6 hour shift to work smart and play smarter- Lets be productive and smart with our time.

The schedule for this position is as follows: Tuesday 7 AM - 1 PM, Wednesday 1 PM - 7 PM, Thursday 1 PM - 7 PM. If you choose, 1-2 Saturdays per month as we have team members who want to do that.

We utilize the following technologies: In house crown milling, digital scanning, soft tissue lasers, CBCT, x ray a.i. software, io cameras.

Essential Job Responsibilities (what every good dentist already does) :

  • Examine patients, review medical history, and develop treatment plan
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain treatment records
  • Provide instruction as needed to patients
  • Prescribe medications appropriately
  • Address clinical issues promptly and accurately
  • Analyze and evaluate x-rays
  • Provide treatment for fillings, broken teeth, replacement of teeth, root canals, extractions and other treatments as necessary
  • Prescribe, administer and dispense fluoride, fluoride varnish, antimicrobial solutions or resorbable antimicrobial agents
  • Presenting treatment to patients.
  • Perform daily Post Op calls to any patients that received surgery or root canals
  • Available by phone for after hour emergencies
  • Review schedule with front office during morning huddle
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and dental board procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Must have 1-2 years of general dentistry experience
  • Degree from an accredited U.S. Dental School
  • Must have and maintain a current dental license in FL
  • Must have and maintain malpractice insurance
  • Must have and maintain a CPR certification
  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to build positive and trusted relationships with both team and patients
  • Dedicated to provide consistent quality dental care and service to patients
  • Strong desire to grow and learn new skills and responsibilities
