Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist (DMD) to join our team on a contract basis in rural Nebraska. This position is of urgent need and offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in various dental procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Conduct routine dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Provide pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental staff to deliver exceptional patient care and manage treatment plans effectively.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including medical imaging and dental fabrication.
Skills
- Proficient in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge.
- Experience in oral surgery, endodontics, and infection control practices.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options.
- Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
