Duties

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in general education subjects
• Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to create interactive online courses and track student progress
• Incorporate research-based instructional strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding
• Provide classroom management that promotes a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Offer tutoring, mentoring, and academic advising to support diverse student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Use educational technology tools to facilitate active learning and assess student performance effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Liberal Arts, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Proven experience teaching in higher education or adult education settings
• Strong knowledge of LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar learning technology tools
• Experience with instructional design and curriculum development for diverse learners
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and working with students of varying backgrounds
• Background in teacher coaching, mentoring, or education administration is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering lifelong learning in students
