Position Overview
This role supports student achievement through academic tutoring, mentoring, and student services coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and committed to helping students thrive in a healthcare education environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide tutoring and academic support in general education subjects including math, reading, writing, and study skills
- Assist students with academic planning, time management, and learning strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide intervention support when needed
- Support retention and student engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation
- Collaborate with faculty, admissions, and administration to support student success
- Assist with orientation, workshops, and student activities
- Provide exceptional customer service to students and visitors
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in tutoring, education, academic advising, or student services preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic student information systems
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
