General Foreman – Civil Construction

Experienced General Foreman responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations on civil construction projects, including earthworks, utilities, concrete, and roadworks. Ensures work is completed safely, on time, and to specification, while coordinating crews, subcontractors, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise field crews and subcontractors across all civil construction activities.
• Enforce safety standards and conduct daily site inspections.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to guide work execution.
• Plan labor, equipment, and material usage to maintain schedule and productivity.
• Communicate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors to ensure progress and resolve issues.
• Maintain daily records of work completed, crew hours, and materials.
• Mentor and train workers, promoting a strong safety and performance culture.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of civil construction experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of site operations, heavy equipment, and civil construction methods.
• Ability to read construction plans and manage multiple crews.
• Solid communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency; construction software knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; travel between job sites may be required.
