General Foundry Supervisor

Job description:

Seeking an experience Gray and Ductile foundry Supervisor.

Five years foundry supervision experience required in Gray & Ductile iron manufacturing

College degree is not required

Metallurgical experience preferred but not required

Both third and first shift available

Must be available to work overtime when needed

4 days a week.

10 hour shifts

Pay will be subject to experience 55-70K a year plus benefits.

Summary

As a General Foundry Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing processes within the foundry, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality output. Reporting to Management, you will leverage your mechanical knowledge of manufacturing skills to manage a team and coordinate activities involving day to day supervision responsibilities. Your expertise in people management, reading prints, cad, trouble shooing machinery, quality inspections, and precision measuring instruments will be essential in maintaining production standards. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the foundry, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery including CNC, Mullor, induction furnaces, core machines and automatic sand molding machines.
• Interpret prints and specifications to guide production.
• Train and supervise staff on proper use of tools and equipment
• Train staff to efficiently manufacture cast iron safely and accurately.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production process.
