General Handyman

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman to join our property management team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of various residential properties. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of repair, installation, and maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your mechanical, electrical, and carpentry skills while providing excellent customer service and support to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across residential and commercial facilities, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using schematics, ohmmeters, and other tools to identify issues accurately.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment to support facility operations.
• Carry out welding tasks as needed for structural repairs or fabrication projects.
• Maintain electrical systems by inspecting wiring, replacing fixtures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance history.
• Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members on larger projects while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Support facilities management by performing residential painting, installing fixtures, and managing small-scale renovation projects.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry regulations while providing exceptional customer service to clients or residents.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in troubleshooting complex systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for electrical or mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with welding techniques and tools.
• Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and fixture installation.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
• Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, drills, saws, and other maintenance equipment.
• Experience with facilities maintenance in residential or manufacturing environments.
• Supervising experience leading small teams or projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions.
