Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of landscaping features, including hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Support the setup, install, and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of lawns and gardens.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as digging, trenching, grading
• Contribute to tree care activities including planting, trimming, and removal under supervision.
• Support excavation work using equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping projects.
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and irrigation systems.
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed.
• Knowledge of landscape installation techniques or tree care practices is a plus but not required.
