General Labor – Production & Quality (Steel Rack Manufacturing/Warehouse)

Position Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented, proactive, and hardworking General Laborers to join our growing warehouse and production team. This role supports steel rack assembly, quality control, light repair, and production line operations. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining our quality standards and production efficiency.

Production & Assembly

• Perform work on a steel rack production line
• Assemble and prepare steel rack components according to specifications
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and supervisor direction accurately
• Maintain productivity targets while ensuring quality standards

Quality Control

• Inspect steel racks and components for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
• Identify and report quality issues proactively
• Ensure outgoing products meet company and customer standards
• Participate in continuous improvement of quality processes

Repair & Rework

• Perform minor repairs on steel racks using:
• Hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Power tools (drills, impact drivers, grinders, etc.)
• Replace damaged parts or hardware as needed
• Assist with rework of non-conforming products

General Warehouse Duties

• Load and unload materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards
• Support team members and supervisors as needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous production line experience (manufacturing or warehouse preferred)
• Experience in quality control or inspection
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality
• Proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with steel or metal products
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Experience reading simple work instructions or diagrams
