General Laborer

Job Description

The General Laborer opening is under the Environmental Services division of Cardinal Group, Inc. This division’s primary focus is providing complete environmental solutions to industrial and commercial customers. Cardinal’s areas of expertise range from industrial services, asbestos abatement, interior demolition, and waste services.

The Laborer may be responsible for performing the following job duties on a daily basis:

• Set up Jobsite including building containment, air filtration devices, , and industrial cleaning equipment
• Strictly adhere to Cardinal Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Assist crew with all set-up tear down and return of equipment to storage locations.
• Demonstrate initiative in execution of assigned tasks
• Performs other duties as assigned by immediate team lead

Laborer Additional Responsibilities

• Ability to carry/lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to operate industrial services equipment (CO2 Ice Blaster; pumper trailers; Pressure Washer)
• Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves heavy manual labor
• Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces
• Ability to wear respirators as required

General Laborer Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment
• Experience performing manual labor
• ability to back up a truck and trailer
