General Laborer

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable General Laborer to join our excavation team. In this role, you will be the "boots on the ground," providing essential support to our heavy equipment operators and ensuring our job sites run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Preparation: Assist in clearing brush, removing debris, and setting up safety barriers or silt fencing.
• Manual Labor: Use hand tools (shovels, rakes, picks, and jackhammers) to dig trenches, level dirt, and grade land where machines can’t reach.
• Utility Work: Help lay pipe for water, sewer, or drainage systems and perform manual backfilling.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site to prevent accidents and ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of the shift.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for 8–10 hours a day in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Lifting Ability: Capability to consistently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Punctuality is a must. Our crews rely on every member to be on-site and ready to work at the start of the shift.
• Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and hand signals in a loud environment.
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach various job sites.
• Safety-First Mindset: Willingness to wear required PPE (Hard hat, steel-toed boots, high-vis vest) and follow strict OSHA guidelines.
