General Laborer- Directional Driller

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller/ Locator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to create holes in various materials, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the process. This role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently to perform drilling tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling operations.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on drilling machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage the transportation of materials using trailers, dump trucks, and water trucks as needed.
• Assist in grading operations using graders and loaders, ensuring proper site preparation.
• Utilize backhoe operation skills for excavation tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks during operations.

Skills

• Proficient in operating various types of construction machinery, including bulldozers, dump trucks, graders, loaders, and backhoes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience with commercial driving is preferred for transporting materials on-site.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during drilling operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
