General Laborer - Seasonal

Position Summary

The Seasonal General Laborer supports the day-to-day operations and upkeep of residential and/or commercial properties. This role is responsible for assisting with landscaping, maintenance tasks, unit turnovers, and general property appearance to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for tenants and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine property upkeep including trash removal, sweeping, and general cleaning of common areas
• Assist with landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and seasonal plantings
• Support maintenance staff with basic repairs and work orders (painting, minor fixes, etc.)
• Prepare units for new tenants, including cleaning, debris removal, and minor touch-ups
• Assist with seasonal projects such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, and storm preparation
• Move materials, equipment, and furniture as needed
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous general labor, landscaping, or maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and landscaping equipment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule & Duration

• Seasonal position (typically spring through fall or as needed)
• Full-time or part-time hours available, including possible weekends

Pay: $17.50 - $18.75 per hour
