Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform open general surgery procedures for abdominal and GI conditions.
• Conduct laparoscopic operations using small key-hole incisions and scopes.
• Diagnose surgical pathologies by interpreting imaging and lab results.
• Develop and implement preoperative and postoperative patient management plans.
• Supervise surgical teams, including residents, nurses, and trainees.
• Ensure adherence to sterilization, safety, and infection-control protocols.
• Monitor patient recovery, manage complications, and adjust treatments promptly.
• Provide patient education on surgical options, risks, and postoperative care.

Skill & Experience

• Expertise in both open and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic imaging (ultrasound, CT, MRI) accurately.
• Strong decision-making under pressure during surgical procedures.
• Excellent team leadership and mentorship for junior surgical staff.
• Effective communication skills to counsel patients and explain procedures.
• High manual dexterity, precision, and hand–eye coordination in surgery.

Note: Salary is disbursed in the local currency of the country of employment.
