To strengthen our finance team in Muscat, we are seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision-making.

Role Overview

The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with accounts payable, receivable, and payroll teams to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support audits and provide documentation as required.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to RO1,150.000 per month
