- Gather and interpret data to inform accurate accounting entries and analyses.
- Prepare and maintain precise financial statements and management reports.
- Drive month-end and year-end closing activities to completion.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts with rigor and consistency.
- Prepare, file, and remit monthly sales and use taxes.
- Safeguard compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with timely inputs and insights.
- Assist with internal and external audits, supplying clear documentation.
- Collaborate across departments to streamline and improve financial processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Background in manufacturing or construction accounting preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Sage 100 is a plus.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving ability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfort working both independently and within a collaborative team.
