General Liability Associate Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in personal injury law . This position requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients to provide legal advice and representation while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel and representation in all aspects of personal injury law.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents including demands, pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters.
• Prepare for and represent clients in litigation proceedings as necessary.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and Partners on complex cases to develop effective strategies.
• Provide administrative support within the law office as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the state of Georgia.
• Strong knowledge personal injury law.
• Proficient in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Prior experience in a legal office environment is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
