General Maintenance Carpenter

Job Description: We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on carpenters and maintenance techs to join our team and provide expert maintenance services in the Dane County and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks including repairs, installations, and general carpentry work to ensure our properties and spaces are in top shape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry work for repairs, installations, and adjustments
• Basic home improvements and repairs
• Build and repair furniture, doors, windows, and other wooden structures
• Handle general maintenance tasks like patching, sanding, and painting
• Maintain tools and ensure proper safety procedures are followed
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects
• Mandatory on call rotation for after hour work orders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in general maintenance
• Proficiency in carpentry tools and techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per year
