Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (On- Required)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of general repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to provide high-quality service while maintaining professional communication with residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs, including minor carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and basic electrical tasks.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs such as fixing sinks, toilets, faucets, and minor leaks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve thermostat issues and ensure HVAC systems are operating properly within scope of training.
• Complete quarterly air filter changes and routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner, documenting all completed work.
• Assist with turnover of vacant units as needed, ensuring units are move-in ready.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in clean and safe working condition.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide 24/7 emergency maintenance response, following company policies that support healthy work-life balance.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols.
• Support the property team with additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance, property maintenance, or related trade experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of general repairs, painting, drywall, plumbing, and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Background check is required.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
