General Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

Pure Tissue is seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to support ongoing maintenance activities and ensure the smooth operation of our tissue manufacturing facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and help maintain a safe, efficient production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery.

· Support maintenance activities for the production lines, conveyors, motors, pumps, and utility systems.

· Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and minimize downtime.

· Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records and work reports.

· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

QUALIFICATION:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Tissue industry preferred).

· Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.

· Basic understanding of PLCs, motors, drives, control systems and pneumatic system is an advantage.

· Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
