General Maintenance Worker

(Hourly Rate Based on Experience & Skills)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Maintenance Worker to join our team in Guam. This full-time position is responsible for the overall upkeep, repair, and functionality of residential and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, versatile, and capable of performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for tenants, residents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in apartments, common areas, and commercial spaces
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic HVAC systems
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities
• Repair or replace fixtures, appliances, hardware, and structural components as needed
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas, buildings, and surrounding grounds
• Assist with preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failure and repairs
• Work on both interior and exterior facility upkeep, including minor landscaping and exterior repairs
• Document work performed, materials used, and maintenance reports accurately
• Follow all safety procedures, building codes, and company policies

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience in apartment complex or property management maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions (indoors/outdoors)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
