Rural Iowa Manufacturer & Distribution General Manager

Hiring company is looking to acquire a business similar to them which requires a General Manager (GM) to lead the company at close.

Target company is a multi-generational owned manufacturer and distributor of heavy machinery components for the agricultural and construction industry. The business ranges from custom design, refurbishing, and repair of components they manufacture.

FRC is seeking an executive with strong sales and finance experience since the company has a strong operations manager overseeing the single site location.

The acquiring company is a leading supplier and distributor of aftermarket parts for agriculture, construction, and industrial equipment throughout North America. The hiring company will submit a LOI (Letter of Intent) to acquire the target business once a GM has been secured. It is important to note the GM hiring is solely dependent upon the successful purchase of the target company. It is expected the GM will have an active role in the due diligence process.

Key considerations include:

· Minimum $25 million P/L in the manufacturing and distribution sector

· Minimum five years leadership within the manufactory and distribution sector

· Sales leadership experience growing a business both internally and externally via acquisitions

· Outside sales and online sales leadership experience with proven track record of sales growth

· Experience selling into Canadian market is beneficial since company wants to expand into that market

· Willingness to relocate to a rural market in Iowa

The GM compensation includes a competitive base salary, 20% bonus, plus healthcare coverage.
