Quality International is seeking a General Manager to provide strategic leadership and full operational management for the company. This role is responsible for the overall P&L, business development, operational excellence, and maintaining the company's position as a leading, ADM-approved provider of inspection, certification, and testing services. The position reports to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan to achieve business goals and ensure long-term growth and profitability.
- Hold full P&L responsibility, including developing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and implementing cost-control measures.
- Oversee all operational divisions (NDT, Inspection, Certification) to ensure services are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with international standards and client specifications.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team and foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, safety, and integrity.
- Drive business development by cultivating relationships with key clients in target industries (e.g., Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing) and securing major contracts.
- Ensure the company maintains and renews all necessary third-party accreditations (e.g., ADM, ISO 17020, ISO 9001) and regulatory approvals.
- Represent the company at a senior level with clients, regulatory bodies, classification societies, and industry associations.
- Review and approve major bids, proposals, and critical project deliverables.
- Implement and monitor company-wide policies for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical) or a related technical field. An MBA or Master’s in Business Administration is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) industry, non-destructive testing (NDT), or a closely related industrial services sector.
- Proven track record of at least 8 years in a General Manager, Regional Director, or equivalent P&L leadership role.
- Deep understanding of NDT methods, inspection processes, international standards (ISO, ASTM, ASME), and third-party accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated success in business development, strategic planning, and financial management within a service-based B2B environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
