General Manager

A General Manager (GM) for Interior Design leads projects from start to finish, managing teams, budgets, client relations, and operations (design, procurement, site execution) in firms offering interior design, fit-outs, or furniture manufacturing. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and technical design/project management skills, ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets, often requiring 5+ years in project management or a design field.

• Project Leadership: Oversee all phases, from concept to completion, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team Management: Supervise and guide design teams, consultants, vendors, and site staff.
• Client & Stakeholder Relations: Handle client communication, ensuring satisfaction and managing expectations.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasting, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
• Operations: Coordinate design development, procurement, factory production (for custom items), and site execution.
• Quality Control: Ensure designs and deliverables meet high aesthetic and technical standards.
