On behalf of Cresco HR , we are supporting our business partner operating in the engineering and industrial services sector in the search for a General Manager .


Our business partner is a well-established engineering and technical service company specializing in industrial valve maintenance, automation systems, mechanical and mechatronic services, predictive maintenance, as well as periodic testing and certification services—both in workshop environments and on-site. With a strong technical team and modern equipment infrastructure, the company delivers reliable and high-quality services across Turkey.


As part of its growth strategy, our business partner is now seeking a General Manager who will lead operations, drive sustainable growth, and strengthen organizational and commercial excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight across all company functions, including maintenance, field service operations, quality, procurement, administrative affairs, and support functions.
  • Define, own, and execute the company’s strategic direction, business plans, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Hold full P&L responsibility , including budgeting, cost optimization, financial performance, and profitability management.
  • Oversee project execution, workforce planning, and operational efficiency to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Establish and maintain high service quality standards to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads; drive performance management and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare, analyze, and monitor operational, financial, and KPI-based performance reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in strategic negotiations, partnerships, and key customer relationships.
  • Drive business development, market expansion, and revenue growth initiatives in line with corporate objectives.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering , or a related field ( MBA is a strong asset ).
    • Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience , including significant exposure to senior management or general management roles.
    • Strong background in engineering-driven, technical services, maintenance, or industrial operations environments.
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex operational structures.
    • Strong planning, scheduling, prioritization, and execution skills.
    • Solid financial acumen , with hands-on experience in P&L ownership and KPI-driven management.
    • Excellent analytical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
    • Comfortable working in both office and field-based environments .
    • Fluent in English .
