General Manager – Kazoku Sushi

Kazoku is a fast growing culinary brand specializing in sushi, pho, and elevated grab and go concepts. We operate across hospitals, universities, and stadiums throughout Tampa, delivering high quality food with consistency, speed, and care.

We are looking for a General Manager to lead operations across multiple locations, build strong teams, and help scale Kazoku into its next phase of growth.

This is not a sit back management role. This is a hands on leadership position for someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and leads from the front.

What You’ll Do

Oversee daily operations across multiple Kazoku locations
Lead, train, and develop kitchen managers, chefs, and team members
Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and service
Build systems that improve efficiency, speed, and execution
Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing across accounts
Monitor and control food cost, waste, and inventory
Work directly with ownership on growth strategy and expansion
Step into kitchens when needed and support teams during service
Maintain strong relationships with partners including hospitals, universities, and venues
Uphold Kazoku’s standards for cleanliness, organization, and professionalism

Who You Are

A natural leader who holds high standards and builds strong teams
Experienced in multi unit or high volume food operations
Organized, detail oriented, and operationally sharp
Comfortable in both leadership and hands on roles
Calm under pressure and solutions focused
Passionate about food, hospitality, and team culture
Someone who takes ownership and treats the business like their own

Experience

3 or more years in a leadership role such as Kitchen Manager or General Manager
Experience in high volume kitchens, catering, or multi location operations
Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, and inventory systems
Sushi or Asian cuisine experience is a plus but not required
