We are seeking an experienced and highly driven General Manager to lead and oversee the full operations of our Interior Design & Fit-Out company.

This is a leadership role for someone who can align teams, optimize processes, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all company departments including design, procurement, operations, and site execution
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all projects and teams
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and overall performance
  • Lead weekly and daily coordination meetings with all departments
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve internal processes and SOPs
  • Set KPIs for departments and ensure targets are achieved
  • Review and approve project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Ensure proper coordination between design, procurement, and execution teams
  • Supervise procurement activities including supplier selection, negotiations, and cost control
  • Track material status (ordered, pending, delivered) to avoid project delays
  • Oversee contract management, variations, and client requirements
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained across all projects
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution and resolve issues
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions proactively
  • Manage company budgeting, cost control, and profitability targets
  • Review financial reports and ensure projects are within budget
  • Support business development by identifying growth opportunities and improving client satisfaction
  • Handle high-level client communications and resolve escalations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate department heads and team members
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Report directly to ownership with performance insights and strategic recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related field)
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within interior design or fit-out companies
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent understanding of project lifecycle, procurement, and site execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
