Job Description:

We are seeking a driven General Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the business, including operations, office administration, and sales. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution.

The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, driving revenue growth, managing staff, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. You will act as the face of the business and primary point of contact for customers while ensuring efficiency across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily business operations, workflow, and project execution
  • Manage employees, monitor productivity, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate scheduling, job distribution, and equipment/vehicle maintenance
  • Track budgets, KPIs, and operational performance
  • Ensure efficient execution of jobs from start to finish

Office Administration

  • Manage general office operations including calls, emails, bookkeeping, and payroll
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable and reporting
  • Maintain customer records and internal systems
  • Ensure organization, compliance, and smooth office workflow

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate and convert leads; identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct site visits, prepare estimates, and close deals
  • Implement marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Build and maintain strong customer and referral relationships
  • Analyze sales performance and improve conversion rates

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in management, operations, or business leadership
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales experience or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Accounting or administrative experience is a plus
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive improvements
  • Leadership mindset with ability to manage teams and processes

Preferred:

  • Experience in construction, field operations, or service-based industries
  • Experience managing operations at a construction site or multi-person location (strong plus)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, CRM systems, or similar tools
