Job Summary

Nebraska Parkour is seeking a driven and people-focused General Manager that can lead both the operational and coaching sides of our facility. This hybrid leadership role is responsible for guiding the overall success of the gym by building a strong team culture, driving sustainable membership growth, elevating retention, and ensuring exceptional service quality across all programs. The ideal candidate will confidently lead from the front — coaching classes while also overseeing staff development, marketing initiatives, administrative systems, events, and performance tracking. Position Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Uphold quality standards across the program including conducting performance reviews, ensure curriculum adherence across the program, and upholding staff to job responsibilities and expectations.
  • People Management: Lead a team to execute their roles, foster culture across staff and clientele, and resolve all HR-related issues.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure coaches follow safety protocols and mitigate risks.
  • Student & Class Management: Have a strong handle on students and classes in the program, place students according to skill levels, and support students, classes, and families throughout the program.
  • Staff Training: Vet, interview, onboard, and support staff on an ongoing basis (sales, coaches, etc.).
  • Coaching: Coach on a regular basis at all ages and levels, and cover for other coaches as necessary.
  • Lead Pipeline: Train, oversee, and support sales team members on sales training, and ensure all leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop sales and coaching curriculum for staff along from a new coach to a top-level athlete.
  • Content Development: Create posters, craft beautiful social media posts, take meeting notes, complete injury reports, write effective customer messaging, and work with different forms of writing / content development.
  • Marketing: Design, promote, and event fill for promotional events and campaigns.
  • Events: Plan and execute events including summer camp, competitions, lead magnet campaigns, and seasonal events.
  • Customer Success: Executes and regularly connects with clients during specific touchpoints throughout their membership journey.
  • Reporting: Accurately reports all KPIs to leadership within due-date time frames (Within first week of new month) and is fully accountable for all KPIs.
  • Gym Budget: The gym budget is reliably set, approved, and followed month to month.
  • Own Results: Be the final owner of everything in the gym, and take responsibility for the impact and results at the end of the day.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Leader – you have actual, quantifiable leadership experience in a manager position with a great track record managing teams. You can balance logic, emotion, and impact. You can understand how your work impacts the priorities and bottomline of the business.
  • Speed & Scale – you seek out the 20% of work that makes 80% of the impact and with focus on what's important. Work fast and sprint on the problems that matter.
  • Problem Solver – you can think logically: understand, process, and interpret situations that are prioritized, deadlined, and take every variable into account quickly. You ask a lot of questions to understand a process before making assumptions.
  • People Person – you know your customer base by heart, can gameplan a solution to their problems effectively, and curb retention. You provide the resources for your team for them to get their job done and carry the team when they need it. You’re social, connect well with others during conflict, and have a great sense of humor.
  • Tech Genie – you can do everything from building zaps quickly to creating filtered and sorted reports across different platforms or from SQL scratch, automate processes, and can read data accurately. You understand the logic, operators, triggers, and workflow of every single feature of a software.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
