General Manager Audio Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced General Manager Audio Engineer to lead our audio production team. This role is crucial in overseeing all aspects of audio engineering, from pre-production to post-production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and editing, with proficiency in various software tools and a passion for content creation. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality audio output for our projects while managing a team of audio professionals.

Duties

• Oversee the audio engineering process for all video projects, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with videographers and content creators to develop engaging audio-visual content.
• Manage post-production workflows, including video editing and sound mixing using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid.
• Implement effective signal processing techniques to enhance audio quality during filming and editing phases.
• Lead the audio team in creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for projects.
• Maintain equipment and software used in audio production, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
• Train and mentor junior staff in best practices for audio engineering and video production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in audio engineering, video production, and post-production processes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of signal processing techniques and their application in video/audio projects.
• Experience with videography and filming techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44.43 - $53.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Marysville, WA 98270
