General Manager – Construction
The
General Manager
is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and strategic direction of the construction business. This role ensures that all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Provide
strategic and operational leadership
across all construction projects and business units

Oversee
project planning, execution, and delivery
, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements

Manage and optimize
budgets, cost controls, procurement, and cash flow
to maximize profitability

Lead and develop
project managers, engineers, site teams, and support staff

Ensure strict adherence to
HSE standards
, quality control procedures, and risk management frameworks

Build and maintain strong relationships with
clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities

Drive
process improvement

Review and approve
contracts, variations, claims, and commercial negotiations

Support business development by contributing to
tenders, bids, pricing strategies, and project feasibility

Represent the company at

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in
Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
(Master’s preferred)

10+ years of progressive experience in construction, with senior management exposure

Strong knowledge of
local authority regulations, contracts, and industry best practices
-
Must have G + Unlimited License.
