Role Description

We are seeking a General Manager – Oman Division to take full responsibility for managing and growing our Oman operations. This is a senior leadership role requiring complete oversight of the Oman division’s business strategy, project execution, financial performance, and team management. The GM will serve as the face of Abrar in Oman, ensuring alignment with group objectives while driving local growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full accountability for the Oman division’s operations, profitability, and overall performance.
• Developing and executing business strategies tailored to the Oman market.
• Overseeing all projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Building and maintaining strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing local teams to achieve excellence.
• Reporting directly to the Group’s senior leadership in UAE/KSA, ensuring alignment with overall group objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior management roles within the construction industry.
• Strong track record in handling complete P&L responsibility for a division or region.
• Expertise in project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Strong client relations and stakeholder management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction standards, safety, and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Familiarity with Oman’s contracting and business environment is an advantage.
