General Manager – High-Scale Logistics & Operations

The Mission

Speedy Delivery Services is a major player in the UAE’s last-mile ecosystem, currently operating a fleet of 1,500+ riders. We are looking for a General Manager who is a master of scale. This isn't a role for a "steady-state" manager; it’s for a leader who has successfully managed fleets of 2,000+ or has a proven track record of scaling a workforce from hundreds to thousands without losing operational control or profitability.

The Challenge

You will be the strategic and operational bridge between our CEO and our departmental heads. Your mandate is to ensure that as we grow, our internal systems—HR, PRO, Fleet, and Finance—work as a single, automated engine.

What You’ll Own

• Mass-Scale Optimisation: Driving profitability across a massive workforce, focusing on "per-rider" and "per-project" unit economics.
• Tech-Led Transformation: Leading the deployment of an integrated ERP system to digitise manual workflows and provide real-time visibility.
• High-Volume Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the entire pipeline from visa processing and onboarding to fleet readiness and project allocation.
• Strategic Growth: Managing high-stakes relationships and SLA compliance with major regional aggregators (e.g., Talabat, Careem).
• Governance & Discipline: Implementing rigorous budgetary controls and internal audits to ensure financial and legal compliance across the board.

Who You Are

• The Scale Expert: You have 7-10 years of experience in logistics, delivery, or manpower outsourcing. Specifically, you have managed fleets of 2,000+ or have successfully led a massive scaling phase in a similar market.
• The Architect: You have hands-on experience implementing enterprise-level software (ERP) to manage large-scale operations.
• The Financial Mind: You are deeply literate in P&L management, CAPEX/OPEX analysis, and cost-recovery (clawback) structures.
• The Leader: You know how to build a culture of accountability and performance in a high-pressure, cross-functional environment.
