We are now seeking a General Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence for our Hotel.
The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and guest satisfaction of the hotel. This includes overseeing all departments, ensuring compliance with brand standards, managing the property’s financial performance, and building & leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on leadership and strategic direction to all departments: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Breakfast Services.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining IHG brand standards and quality assurance.
- Monitor and manage the hotel's budgets, forecasting, payroll, and cost control.
- Hire, train, and motivate a high-performing team; promote a positive work culture.
- Implement and oversee IHG operational systems and procedures.
- Maintain relationships with IHG corporate, ownership, vendors, and local business community.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including safety and labor laws.
- Drive RevPAR, occupancy, and ADR growth through effective revenue management and sales efforts.
- * Conduct regular property inspections and ensure preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hotel management experience (General Manager or Assistant GM level preferred).
- Previous experience with IHG brands preferred.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent financial and operational acumen.
- Strong guest service orientation and ability to resolve issues diplomatically.
- Knowledge of hotel management software.
- Flexibility to work including weekends and holidays, as needed.
