General Manager KSA

Overview

As the General Manager KSA, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding AVAR's footprint in the dynamic and rapidly evolving Saudi Arabian data center market. As part of our team in the Riyadh Office, you'll work in an onsite environment, driving commercial strategy, expanding client relationships, and building high-performing teams that will define the company's growth trajectory. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead market-entry initiatives, collaborating closely with innovation teams to bring transformative solutions to clients across the Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies for market entry and sustainable growth targeting the KSA data center ecosystem.


• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, proactively engaging with hyperscalers, telecommunications providers, and key government stakeholders.


• Lead the full sales lifecycle, from technical pitching and client engagement through to contract negotiation and deal closing.


• Assume full P&L responsibility for the KSA business, including budget management, revenue forecasting, and operational expenditure control.


• Utilize an established industry network to position AVAR as the partner of choice within the Kingdom.


• Scale and mentor high-performing commercial and technical teams as business needs evolve.


• Collaborate with the Innovation department to integrate AI-driven solutions such as Predictive Maintenance and Digital Twins into market offerings.

Must Have Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in the Data Center or Critical Infrastructure industry, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial or general management role based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


• Demonstrable, top-tier contact list of senior decision-makers within the KSA digital infrastructure sector.


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic.


• In-depth knowledge of financial management, including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.


• Expert negotiation, stakeholder management, and business development skills.


• A robust understanding of the KSA Vision 2030 regulatory and business ecosystem.


• Must have proven experience and expertise in data center operations

Nice To Have Requirements

• MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred.


• Experience launching and scaling new business lines within the Saudi digital infrastructure market.


• Previous work introducing innovative, AI-driven services in a technical B2B environment.


• Exposure to international data center standards and best practices.
