About the Job
Legacy Housing Corporation (NASDAQ: LEGH) is hiring a motivated and detail-oriented General Manager to oversee our large-scale production facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This manufacturing plant is the heart of our operations and will require a General Manager with strong leadership experience and an extensive background in production.
Essential Job Responsibilities
· Lead all plant operations including production, quality, safety, logistics, and maintenance
· Drive productivity and efficiency across all departments while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
· Collaborate with Talent Management & HR to oversee staffing, training and performance management of department supervisors and key personnel.
· Monitor KPIs and prepare reports on production output, downtime, labor, and costs
· Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, sales, and executive teams to ensure production goals are met.
· Implement and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
· Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) to track data, prepare reports, and communicate effectively.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in a leadership role within a large-scale manufacturing or production environment.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing best practices, including lean manufacturing and quality assurance.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency is especially important).
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to lead and inspire a large team in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
· A college degree is preferred but not required; relevant experience is most important.
