General manager Operations

• Oversee and manage overall operations across retail, supply chain, and procurement functions, ensuring seamless coordination across all business units
• Address and resolve complex operational issues requiring senior management intervention in a timely and effective manner
• Provide strategic and practical solutions to leadership to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted business operations
• Act as a key liaison between head office, warehouse, and retail outlets to maintain operational alignment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability
• Oversee demand planning and title assortment, ensuring the right mix of books is available across stores based on sales trends and customer preferences
• Strengthen vendor and publisher partnerships to secure favorable commercial terms, timely supply, and exclusive releases
• Implement and optimize operational systems and controls (inventory, POS, reporting) to enhance visibility, accuracy, and decision-making

Requirements

• Graduate or Masters in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 10–12+ years in retail operations / supply chain / procurement
• Experience in import management and vendor handling
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs275,000.00 per month
