Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the complete operations of our flagship sweets and namkeen retail outlet

The ideal candidate will be a senior professional with strong leadership, operational management skills, and deep understanding of the food retail and manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Production Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the retail store and factory.
  • Ensure smooth production, quality control, timely manufacturing, and dispatch.
  • Manage inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.

2. Sales & Business Growth

  • Drive retail sales and customer engagement.
  • Develop pricing strategies, promotions, seasonal offers, and discount plans.
  • Build and manage corporate tie-ups and bulk order channels.

3. HR & Staff Management

  • Hire, train, and supervise staff for both shop and factory.
  • Manage staff attendance, performance, discipline, and attire standards.
  • Create staffing schedules and ensure manpower availability.

4. Branding, Packaging & Seasonal Planning

  • Oversee packaging design, product presentation, and brand aesthetics.
  • Plan for festive seasons (Diwali, Eid, Christmas, etc.) including new products, gift boxes, calendars, and marketing themes.

5. Finance & Compliance

  • Monitor daily sales, expenses, and overall financial performance.
  • Handle profit & loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, food safety standards, and government regulations.

6. Coordination & Leadership

  • Create strong coordination between the Karama shop and Ras Al Khor factory.
  • Lead teams across production, sales, and admin departments.
  • Report directly to the management with weekly updates.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8–10 years experience in sweets, namkeen, FMCG, or food retail industry.
  • Strong leadership and multitasking ability.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of production, quality, HR, and financial management.
  • Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership.

Employment Details

  • Benefits: As per UAE labour law

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
