Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Executive Pastry Chef/General Manager to lead our pastry and culinary operations with passion and precision. This dynamic role combines creative pastry artistry with strategic management, overseeing the entire food production process, maintaining exceptional food safety standards, and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of innovative pastry menus, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
  • Oversee all aspects of food production, including baking, cake decorating, packaging, and food preparation, maintaining consistency and excellence.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques such as knife skills, cake decorating, and food handling to foster professional growth.
  • Ensure efficient food service delivery while providing exceptional customer service that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Implement quality control measures for food presentation, portioning, and packaging to uphold brand standards.
  • Coordinate catering events and special functions, managing logistics from preparation to delivery with attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, waste management, and safety protocols to optimize operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven pastry experience with a strong background in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation within a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive culinary experience in the food industry or restaurant setting with a focus on pastry arts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing kitchen teams and overseeing daily operations as a General Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent knife skills along with comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Strong organizational abilities in packaging, inventory management, and catering coordination.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests alike.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance related to baking and food production processes.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
