Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Dhruva Space is seeking an experienced and people-focused
General Manager – People & Culture
to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. As a senior HR leader, this role will drive key initiatives across employee engagement, grievance management, learning and development, and workplace health and safety, while partnering closely with business leaders to strengthen a people-first culture, enhance leadership capability, improve employee experience, and support overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Design and implement strategies that foster a positive, high-performance organizational culture.

Lead employee engagement initiatives and regularly assess employee sentiment through surveys, feedback tools, and focus groups.

Champion equity, inclusion, and belonging across all levels of the organization.

Establish, manage, and continuously improve a fair, confidential, and efficient grievance redressal mechanism.

Act as a senior escalation point for complex employee relations and grievance matters.

Provide guidance to managers on conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and sensitive employee issues.

Oversee the design and delivery of leadership, technical, and behavioral training programs.

Drive talent development initiatives including succession planning, career frameworks, and mentorship programs.

Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and align L&D initiatives with strategic objectives.

Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and organizational health and safety standards.

Promote wellness initiatives that support both physical and mental wellbeing of employees.

Lead incident response, risk assessments, and proactive safety awareness and education programs.

Serve as a key contributor to overall HR strategy, policies, and long-term people planning.

Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and ROI metrics related to culture, engagement, and development initiatives.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People & Culture team.
Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior HR, People & Culture, or Employee Experience leadership role.

Strong expertise in employee engagement, grievance management, L&D, and workplace health & safety.

Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence organizational culture and change.

Strong understanding of labor laws, employee relations practices, and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
