Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements

Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contracting for major components (e.g., PV modules, inverters, wind turbines, BOS, batteries, EPC services)
-
Drive cost optimization through competitive bidding, supplier consolidation, and long-term framework agreements
Supplier & Vendor Management
-
Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard suppliers and subcontractors
-
Build and maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and logistics partners
-
Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, ESG compliance) and implement corrective actions
Contract & Commercial Management
-
Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, delivery terms, warranties, LDs, and risk allocation

Ensure alignment with legal, technical, and finance teams on commercial terms
-
Manage change orders, claims, and dispute resolution related to procurement contracts
Logistics & Inventory Management

Oversee logistics planning, transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing
-
Ensure on-time delivery of materials to project sites
-
Optimize inventory levels to minimize working capital and storage risks
Risk & Compliance:

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (price volatility, geopolitical risks, supplier capacity, logistics disruptions)

Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, trade laws, and ESG/sustainability standards

Support localization and domestic content requirements where applicable
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Finance, and Legal teams

Support project planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
-
Provide supply chain inputs during project bidding and feasibility stages
Leadership & Reporting

Lead and mentor procurement and supply chain team members
-
Prepare and present procurement status, cost savings, and risk reports to senior management
-
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
-
Master’s degree or professional certifications (CIPS, CSCP, CPSM) preferred
Experience
-
12+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement, preferably within renewable energy, power, or infrastructure projects
-
Proven experience managing large-scale project procurement and high-value contracts
-
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and global supply markets
