Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service operations, and a passion for hospitality management. This role involves overseeing daily restaurant functions, managing and scheduling staff, ensuring food safety standards, coordinating, booking and managing any and all private parties and events, working one on one with our in-house social media staff, and maintaining excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in both casual and fine dining settings, along with proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, is highly desirable. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team culture.

Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards
  • Supervise front-of-house teams, while working with executive chef to ensure efficient shift management and smooth coordination
  • Monitor inventory levels, control foh food costs, and manage ordering processes to optimize profitability
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and sanitation
  • Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training sessions to promote professional growth
  • Implement quality control measures for food production, presentation, and service delivery
  • Coordinate catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment that aligns with hospitality standards while fostering teamwork and employee engagement

Skills

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising diverse teams and managing shifts effectively
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, culinary practices, and kitchen management
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Ability to train staff on food preparation, food handling, and service standards
  • Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management
  • Skilled in interviewing candidates and developing training programs for staff development & team management
  • Familiarity with catering operations, banquet management, or bar services is a must
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,874.81 - $78,128.80 per year
